It has to be one of the ugliest aeroplanes ever - even its mother would ignore it! But you have to admit, when it comes to performance, it's in a class of it's own. I like the way it has interchangeable parts. Left and right wings are identical, ailerons and flaps are the same part number, rudder and elevators are the same part number. Very practical.
Bob I'll have to talk to you about the U Factor 🙂 the repulsion of the earth against very ugly planes 😉 that is the secret that Pilatus exploited on the Porter.
Maybe CASA will one day incorporate it into the Aero Dy exam HA HA!!!
Haha check out the elevator deflection.. The tail wheel alllmost lifts again. It's such a short field landing that it starts going backwards!
