That video is unreal! I don't know much about crop dusting but I'd say being that low just isn't allowed anymore?? Hahah thats craaaaazy!

Vortices are a real problem to crop dusters. When I was in far north Queensland, one of my best mates was a crop duster running a very successful business. Sugar cane fields are usually quite small and often near residential areas. The spray that got caught up in the vortex often drifted onto homes and gardens causing all kinds of violent protests, e.g. killing Maggie Murphy's prize roses! Ted and I did a lot of testing of the position of the spray nozzles along the wing span to get good coverage yet limit the amount of spray being sucked up into the vortex. If you look at a crop dusting aircraft you will notice that the boom never extends all the way to the wing tip.

That is just mind blowing ! No matter how good you are I cant see you getting away with that sort of flying for long. I wonder how many prangs they had ? It would be facinating to see the CVs of some of those pilots.

Wonder if they have been knocked back with life insurance.
