I reckon the weights are right out. The wheels are way too far aft and the wings too far forward. They should have made it a tail dragger. Definitely give them points for trying.

Just in reply to my previous post, yes there was a follow up story.. On the take off run the landing gear collapsed. Methinks he got away lucky!
