Hi,
I have trouble working this question.
[b]Your distance from A to B is 670nm. At 0210 UTC, you fix position at C (120nm from A). The total fuel on board overhead C is 530L.
You plan to continue to B which has 30H due to visibility. A suitable aerodrome D (180nm ahead of C). Between D and B , there are no suitable aerodrome to use for emergency. Therefore, you decide to work out the OEI PNR based on a landing back at D.
Planning data is :
Fixed Reserve = 45min at normal cruise rate
Normal cruise fuel rate = 120 L/hr
OEI cruise fuel rate = 90 L/hr
Normal cruise TAS = 180kt
OEI cruise TAS = 120 kt
Wind = 20kt Tail
The Position of the OEI PNR based on a return to land at D is ?[b]
