Hi Bob, Stuart and John,

Can you please calculate the 2 following questions for me and let me know the answer you get?. My answer is off by 2 knots on these questions and I want to figure out if the question is slightly inaccurate or my flight computer is dodgy...

PH 9000, OAT -15, CAS 170kt
PH 15,000, OAT -20, CAS 130kt

Answers in the book are
1. 190kt TAS
2.162kt TAS

My computer says

1.188kt TAS
2. 160kt TAS

Cheers,

Dan.

Your not doing anything wrong it seems that your wheel is slightly different compared to ours

Do you think i will be safe in the exam with the slight difference?... I have a jeppersen wizz wheel too and its giving me the same answer as the larger format ASA wheel... Would hate to get questions wrong from something so basic!.

**Correction*** Looks like my Jepp wheel gives me the answers you are getting!... I know which computer to take into the exam now, thank you!.
