for example:taf ywyy 101845z,, if i plan to arrive at 1830z, should i use this forecast, are there any 30 min buffet?

Hi Dennis,
The answer you seek is in AIP ENR 1.10 para 1.2.5.
The forecast must be valid 30min before and 60min after arrival. TAFs generally have a 6 hour overlap to ensure coverage.
In this example you would the preceeding TAF.
