Had an exam question asking to name the synoptic situation shown. I don't remember the options, but the picture was effectively four or five lows in a circle surrounding Central Australia. Anyone know what that is called? Hard without a photo I know, but thought someone might know.

Unfortunately that was not it. It didn't involve high pressure systems at all. Just lows.
Three of the options I was familiar with and one I'd never heard of. Maybe it was that. I'll keep searching online. It's bugging me.

I was going to suggest a summer-time MSL pattern dominated by heat lows.
The heat lows often form a horseshoe trough (concave down) over the continent. If the heating is strong enough, the monsoon trough will move over the top end as Stuart has indicated.
