I just sat my first practice test for Met after a hard day slog of learning, revising learning and lots of cups of tea.
I got 80%. Hmmm..
It turns out that 4 of the questions I got wrong were because I either did not read the question right or did not read all the answers. 4 times I put down silly hasty answers which I should have got right if I just was a bit more careful in the answer selection process.
For example one question gave;
(a) 280M, 35kts
(b) something or other
(c) another something or other
(d) 280T, 35kts
In my haste I selected (a). WRONG 280T was correct. I should have been less hasty and been a lot more careful in my answers.
The thing is, an 80% mark for me means I have to go back and do more revision tonight.
A 90% mark would have meant I can go have a beer.
Bummer.
Did you still have a beer?
I know there's a lot of money in aviation because I put it there.
Well...I may have had a beer or two, but not untill after I had revised all the questions I got wrong.
Dedicated. Thats what I am 🙂
