I checked the current AIP online and hard copy and this seems to have been removed, I'm not too sure if it's valid anymore.

You are correct, the term 'PROVISIONAL' doesn't exist anymore. I'll track that question down and change the answer to
"PROB TS for the duration of the forecast".
