Hey guys,

Almost at the end of IREX study. Ive been following the rule that when VOR CDI indicates say 2 dots to the left,
it means 6 degrees (edge of centre circle is 2 degs, plus 2 dots is another 4 degs.
Bob tait online exams says:
"It is usual to count the edge of the centre circle as the first dot"....implying the above example would actually mean
4 degrees? which one do i use??

help much appreciated. Cheers

That wasn't what was intended. I'll change the wording to indicate that the edge of the circle is 2° from the centre, and each dot is a further 2°.

Just in case I've done both calculations (extra 10 secs) and confirmed the answer.
