have renewal coming up and my aircraft fitted with 129a GPS
Question on alternates
can you please clarify the following
Private IFR flight to YCCA which has only GNSS app
aircraft has 129A TSO GPS ADF, VOR NDB and DME all operational
weather conditions indicate no alternate requirements TAF within alt minima
Must plan for alternate which has a NDB or VOR approach
another AD with just GNS app cannot be used?
also if YCCA had a GPS arrival it cannot be used with a 129a equipment
