In your Rev Ex 3.2 Question 6
PROB20 TEMPO 0306 3000 TS.......
Is 0306 referring to the start or the end of period ?

First off, the TAF syntax given in the exercise is out of date. "PROB20 TEMPO 0306" used to mean TEMPO from 03z to 06z.
Today the correct syntax would be, "PROB30 TEMPO dd03/dd06" - where dd is the date. In addition, PROB20 is no longer used. You will only find PROB30 or PROB40 on the TAF today.
