Hello team,
I was studying the NDB Chapter - particularly the Intercept Exercises on Page 43 and 52 in the Instrument Rating Study Guide.
My query is regarding example 4 - on Page 44 and 52.
When drawing a diagram for the example 4 - Present HDG: 205M, Present ADF Indication - 010R. FPT = 200M and Intercept Angle 45.
-just trying to understand why the TMG = 215M is on the left side on FPT 200 M.
Is it because of the ADF 010R bearing because we are tracking to the NDB rather than from the NDB?
When you are on an inbound track, a track with a smaller number will be on your right, and a track with a larger number will be on your left.
The best way to visualize it is to project the tracks beyond the destination aid and imagine that you placed a protractor over the aid.

Thanks bob - much appreciated.
