Hi guys,
Question 13 in set 10 of the CIR revision questions; you are planning a flight from alpha to bravo in ozy. Both have ndb and co'located Dme. Rated coverage of ndb at alpha is 60nm and bravo is 45. 20 knot headwind. Greatest distance from alpha to bravo that would permit this ifr flight to be planned.
You say that using 6.39 would give a more accurate answer, but you still use 6.66 x R. Which one are we supposed to use?

Also found that you use 6.39 in the online practice exams. Doesn't help with the confusion
