I have done 3 2d approaches in the last 90 days including a CDI approach but not a 3d, so NO ILS.
If I wanted to return to Perth RWY 21 in the event of an engine failure why can't I do the LLZ approach? It's not a 3d approach and it's using the CDI.
The answer in the prep exam says I don't have the ILS 3d approach so I only have the RWY 21 VOR for CDI available.
Can I not use the LLZ approach because it is a 3D approach or the localiser is PART of the ILS system?
Cheers
