The answer to question 28 page 200 which is provide on page 205 of the text indicates that VH-OZY has one TSO 129 GPS - it has two C149a.

Thanks for that. The answer has been changed already but we are holding off updating the E-Text / errata list until the end of this IREX course just to mop up any changes which may have been overlooked. The answer to this question is that an alternate is not required due to OZY having two TSO 146 GPS'.

The question as it stands in the old text has no correct answer printed since the answer would be "No alternate would be required". The latest revision of the E-Text and book has "No alternate" as an answer option.

Hi Jamup,
Yes, VH-OZY default equipment has been changed. We got about 2 weeks notice of the change back in May. If your copy is really from June this year, it should contain the corrections to the questions in the text which assumed OZY had 129 GPS units installed. Remember, the RULES didn't change, just the equipment in OZY.
