Hey all,
I highly recommend Bob Tait's IREX book if you haven't already read it. I just sat the IREX today, self-study whilst working full-time (took about a month full-time) to get through the exam and walked away with a 98% pass (read up on MET, otherwise would've been 100 :/). To everyone who answered my questions on the forum, thank you!
For those doing IREX in the future. I advise reading the Bob Tait back to front a couple of times whilst doing the practice questions. When reading the AIP stuff found in the study guide, also have a read of the content in the AIP as it will build a foundation as the IREX seems to heavily rely on the AIP. The BT online questions were a charm - albeit a little easier than the actual exam, it was similar enough to the actual exam format whilst asking similar questions.
Looking forward to starting ATPL's!
Congratulations and Well done on a great score!!
Great advice too.
Good luck on your aviation journey!
Cheers
What a fantastic result - especially for home study. You can be rightly proud of that. Enjoy your flying now!
