Good Morning
Can I please request to get the extract for CAO and part 61. My friends who have studied IREX were able to get one from here. Which I cant find now. It will be very helpful to carry just whats needed instead of carrying all the CAOs to the exam.

Go to our front page, look under 'BOOKS' and click on 'Extracts'.
Remember that it must be bound and no hand-written notes are permitted.

Hi Bob,

I purchased your IREX book all the way back in 2012 (2010 edition) but never managed to fund my IFR at the time. I'm now about to get back to it and I want to know whether the 2010 book will be relevant enough when used with the Part 61 supplement? I understand the standard equipment for OZY has also changed so it wouldn't surprise me if that makes the old book pretty useless.

Cheers

Gday all, can someone let me know the the "CAO Extract" is sufficient to take into the IREX exam in Leu of the CASA CAR/CAO/CASR/CAAP documents listed in the permitted material list?

it would sure make the exam more time efficient.

IREX 2010 would be hopelessly out of date I'm afraid. You would be wise to consider a new book or e-text.

The feed-back I've had has been that the CAO/CAR/CASR Extract is adequate for the CASA exam.
