Good day Mr Tait.
I recently wrote my IREX exam and did not pass. There are a couple of questions which I am unsure of. If you can give me some clarity it will be highly appreciated.
1. You are circling at 1320'. When can you descend to circuit altitude of 1000'
- Base
-Downwind (wrong)
-Final
2. You are OCTA equipped with an VOR and controlled airspace ahead of you. What is the track error allowed:
-9.0 degrees (wrong)
-5.2 degrees
-5.0 degrees
3. You are on a GPS/DME arrival with the DME not working. You lose GPS raim, can you use the GPS distance?
Thank you.
