hey all, just wondering what the recency requirments are for flying IFR by night because I only see requirments of 1t/o and ldg previous 6 months but thats for NVFR. Am I correct to assume they are simply those required for day like IPC current with appropriate recency on instrument approaches etc?

thanks again!

If you hold a current command instrument rating you can fly IFR by day or by night. The only requirement for night is that you can't take passengers unless you have done three take-offs by night in the last 90 days. (CASR 61.395). Also, the holder of a command instrument rating may fly IFR or NGT VFR with no further special requirements for NGT VFR. (CASR 61.855).

No further special requirements?
Not even the one that applies to the NVFR rating: one night take-off and landing in 6 months? (CASR 61.965)
