Hi Bob
(1) IREX Practice Cyber Exam (IREX_079)
Apart from VFR-on-top, and VFR climb or descent procedures, ATC will provide separation between IFR flights in VMC in -
correct answer was " in all but Class D and Class G airspace "
I dont get how this is the correct answer, in the AIP ENR 1.4-7 the table says in Class D airspace IFR are separated from IFR and SVFR.
(2) IREX Practice Cyber Exam (IREX_034)
You are carrying out the RWY 21 LOC approach into Perth in OZY. A notam advises that the HIAL on this runway is not available due maintenance .
The minima for this approach would be-
the correct answer is 550 feet and 1.9 km.
my DAP list the minima as 550(507-2.0) its the 23 AUG 2012 has it been ammended and do i need to get the ammendments and do we still need to add .9 km onto the visibility minima for non precision approaches when HIAL is equipped but not available?
Thanks
(1) That was a carry over from the change from GAAP to Class D. The answer has been amended to 'in all but Class G'
(2) That was a good one. They took away the requirement to add .9 to the visibility when HIAL was not available, I changed all the questions and answers and then - would you believe - they brought it back again! So I have now changed them all back again. The current issue of the book reflects that.
Thanks for your feed back - it is most appreciated
Bob
