Thankyou Bob - I appreciate your help.
I've been struggling to get my head around this NDB question -
Your Aircraft is north of an NDB and you are maintaining a HDG of 140M to intercept a track of of 070M from this station.
What relative bearing to the NDB would indicate you have intercepted the required track?
I went through this process to try to work it out -
1) Put HDG on DB (140)
2) find 070M 'from' on the DG = 250
3) 250 -140 = 110 ?
The other options for answers are
a)110 b)290 c)070 d)180 e)250
Hi dee,
First, check out the answer given to Gaurav for a very similar question in this thread: http://www.bobtait.com.au/forum/instrument-rating-irex/4819-irex-ndb . If that doesn't help you work out the answer, let us know and we'll step you through it 🙂
Cheers,
Rich
P.S. the answer to your question is 110 degrees Relative on the ADF
