The Air Law and IREX extracts will be released as soon as the official versions of CASR Part 91, the Part 91 MOS, Part 135 and
Part 135 MOS are available on the Federal Register of Legislation.
Any advice of whether we should take in the current/old extract or take all the legislation (as listed as permitted material) in separately for the CPL Air Law exam? Looking at taking the exam in the next week.
Thanks
I'm choosing to take in full copies - You can just print the full Part 61CASR, 91 MOS, 135 MOS.
My choice is mostly because of the index - make it very easy to find the appropriate section and subsection in each of these documents, also just about everything can be found in these sets. I have decided budget is not an issue for me with this exam so @ approx $30 each I think they are good value - from office works printed and bound accordingly
Hi there,
Is the latest IREX extracts sufficient and applicable for use in the CLWA?
Short answer no, we have decided to not produce a Air Law extract as it wouldn't be any smaller than the current instrument.
The IREX extract is not comprehensive enough for CLWA.
I noticed that there are some missing sections in the IREX extract, for example the bottom half of page 49 to top half of page 50 in the Part135 MOS, and on page 57 of the Part135 MOS..
Another example as I can recall is the cockpit compartment light requirements clause.
Was this intentional?
