Does this refer to Q29 Set 5 HPL book (answer is d)?
The RWY will appear closer than it is when approaching over water or featureless terrain so a correct approach path will appear high. If this illusion is corrected for, an undershoot may occur.
I think this causes a similar illusion to bright runway and approach lights or a very clear night.
