This question relates to Revision Test 6, pg 248 STG PPL 1. I searched but didn't find any topics relating to it so far.

So the question is .....effect of sustained negative G load? and answer is a) a slowing of the heart beat. But doesn't the heart beat faster to compensate for any lack of oxygen in the blood whether it is positive or negative? the answer b) a decreased flow of oxygenated blood to the brain made more sense for me.

In the process of also convert a UK ATPL to an Australian.

Sat AHUF on Monday and fluffed it by just 3%! Re sitting on Saturday morning

Does the CHUF questions that can be purchased cover the AHUF exam? Have been passed a few documents kinds from someone that was there on the day which have helped but with a limited window of me being in the country to sit these exams, I don't want to dip this exam for a second time.

Cheers

I feel something like this is almost a trick question as it's not immediately obvious if they are asking about the stall warning device or the action taken, given that both items are considered countermeasures of different types..

Or is that just me... Many of these TEM questions seem very much up to interpretation unless you work out how to interpret them they way they are intended to be. Luckily while I got this one wrong, I believe I have enough of a grasp of the concepts to get through the exam tomorrow. Fingers crossed, I'll let you know how I go.

Runway sloping down With the aircraft on a normal ap-
proach path with respect to the horizontal, the perspective of
the runway makes it appear that the approach is too low. The
pilot compensates by flying a higher approach, resulting in an
overshoot or a high speed at the runway threshold.

A pilot may think that he/she is too HIGH on approach when:
The runway slopes down to the threshold.
The terrain slopes up to the threshold

I was reviewing some practice Bob Tait questions about Human Condition and found this question confusing, I don't understand the books answer.

During climb volume gases in ear decreases because outside pressure decreases letting the gases move around and expand but when you descent the pressure is greater and gas' volume would increase??? - My understanding

Can someone please explain the books answer?
