BNK015 do you require alternate or is it only cloud below 1500 Thanks

The alternate minima for VFR flights is 1500ft and 8km. [i] (AIP ENR 1.1 para 11.7.2.14)[/i]
An alternate must be provided if the conditions are [i][b]below[/b][/i] the alternate minima[i] ( AIP ENR 1.1 para 11.7.2.1).[/i] So, for 4/8 of cloud with a base of exactly 1500ft you do not need an alternate and if the visibility is exactly 8km you do not need an alternate. There must be [i][b]more than[/b][/i] 4/8 cloud [i][b]below[/b][/i] 1500ft or visibility [i][b]less than[/b][/i] 8km to impose the alternate requirement.
