In the introduction to this book (Dec 2021), fuel in the final answer should be rounded up.
On working through this exercise I note that the rounding is undertaken at an intermediary step.
While my answers are approximately the same, which is the correct method?
Example 2:
204min from A to B (65% power) + 60 min holding at B (35% power)
204/60*28=95.2G
If rounded now to 96G (96*1.1) +15 + 3 +17.2=140.8G or 141g
If rounded later (95.2*1.1) +15 + 3 +17.2=139.9G or 140g
Is the difference significant for a correct exam answer?
Thanks

Thank you for the prompt reply.

Yes, I have read that advice - I was seeking clarification.

Your advice states "If there is any decimal place in the final answer the answer should be rounded up"

However the worked example performs the rounding at an intermediary step.

It is this, that I am seeking clarification for.

Thanks
