G'day Bob, Rich,
Back in my days as an Air Force Cadet, I used to teach the Otto cycle as "Suck", "Squeeze", "Bang", "Blow". I always found it helped the students remember the stages. I'm sure you've already heard of these terms, but if not, it might be a good addition to the book as an Aide Memoire type of thing.

Thanks for that one. I have heard of it because it's been around quite a while. Unfortunately some raging feminists I have met complained once that it had some sexual connotations!!!

Haha! Fair enough. It's not sexual unless you put a "me" at the end of it! Down to political correctness.
