Hi Bob, a quick question on dry sumps, looking at Fig 1.35 on page 1.22. I'm trying to get my head around how this engine operates inverted. If the scavenger pumps are located in a small sump at the bottom of the engine, surely if the engine was inverted the oil would pool at the top, away from the scavenger pump pick up?
