Had a KDR for my IREX attempt that mentioned weather broadcasting services, the question was roughly as follows.
In flight you want to obtain a weather report for both Sydney and Canberra, what frequency should you use?
I was unfamiliar with how to answer the question, and consulted my PCA to land on the frequency 128.65, it was a green frequency in the vicinity of both aerodrome. However given I have a KDR on the topic I assume that is incorrect.
Can anyone help with the correct answer?

I think you may be looking for IN FLIGHT INFORMATION SERVICES (AERIS),
See ERSA GEN-FIS-1. This is an automatic broadcast on VHF (not unlike ATIS for and aerodrome) except it provides METARs and SPECIs for nominated aerodromes en route. Usually broadcast from elevated locations throughout Australia to maximize the range.
