Hi all,
About to start self study for the CPL exams, I have heard some say there is an order that is best to study & complete the subjects in. Does anyone have any recommendations on this?
For home study I would suggest-
Aerodynamics first. Most of the concepts in CPL aerodynamics have been introduced in your PPL study.
General Knowledge next. For the same reason.
Performance next. Performance is really just applied Aerodynamics and General Knowledge in the real world.
Meteorology next. This subject covers the atmosphere, hazards and the rules for flight planning.
Navigation next. The basic principles and rules from Meteorology are fundamental to navigation and flight planning.
Human Performance next. This subject takes a close look at the pilot's physical and mental limitations and performance.
Air Law next. The rules and procedures from Meteorology and Flight Planning and Human Performance.
Thanks Bob, just passed Aerodynamics at 80%, 4 weeks of home study
