Hi Bob tait
Can you clarify what in the main indication when entering a microburst in cpl meteorology. There were several answers stating it was SEVERE TURBULENCE, and other of REDUCTION IN IAS and INCREASE IN ROD.

Select a hazard associated with microburst activity which would be most significant for aircraft in the vicinity of
an aerodrome-
[a] Severe wind shear causing drastic loss of IAS during approach.
[b] Severe icing causing a loss of performance.
[c] Severe turbulence causing control difficulties during approach.
[d] Lighting strikes disabling navigation instruments,
