I found this resource and will be refering back to it. It is simple but not trivial and has a pleasing tone. The bits I have read so far have enlightened me quite a bit. It fits nicely between the KISS dumbo need to know stuff and the MEGO (My Eyes Glaze Over) stuff of the proffessional Aeronautical Engineer.
I commend it to your attention.

Very interesting indeed, answered a few of my own questions with the first look.
I know there's a lot of money in aviation because I put it there.
