How to expain flying

Hi everybody, I have started flying solo circuits and the emotional feeling of it is something completely different to anything else in life. I've got friends, family and workmates asking what it is like. I have tried to think of a way to explain it to them, yet i cannot come up with something that is remotely suitable. Has anybody else had the same problem? I think only pilots can understand what it is i am talking about.
