Page 145 of the CPL Law book has as a met question that I don't quite understand.
your ETA is 0345 and the FM period starts at 0400 - 3000 +RASH BKN010.
The from period has to be taken into account 30 minutes prior, the answer states that you don't not require an alternate?

You will find that message is a TTF/METAR. TTFs do not require the 30 minute buffers.

I made the same mistake on this question, and forgot to consider that TTF don't require the buffer!
