Hi Bob,

I am planning to take up Air Law next and I am a bit lost regarding the reference materials required for the exam. Do I need to take all of the CAR, CASR and CAO for the exam? Or is it allowed to have only the extracts that are relevant for the exam? I read here in the online forums that such an extract is available but I couldn’t find it in your online store. Could you please help me with it.

Thanks,
Raji

If you download the extracts from the link below, you can take it into the exam providing-
You bind the document (no loose pages)
There are no hand-written notes.
However you can highlight as much as you like.

The extract replaces the CAR, CASR and ERSA. You will need to provide your own copy of AIP and ERSA,

Thanks for the wonderful extracts Bob. I sat the exam last friday and passed with 90%. The BT textbook and online practice exams too helped me a lot. I stumbled on four questions:
1) whether a report or broadcast had to be made after take off (BLACKALL, QLD). Options were something like report on xx hz, broadcast on xx hz etc. (combination of report-broadcast-frequency)
2) given ETD and ETA. Validity of TAF at ETA.
3) Navigation tolerance - which I couldnt find in the extract.
Cant remember the fourth one.

Cheers,
Raji
