Hi,
The answer given for Question 22 Set 3 questions on page 133 was listed as (b) - the stretcher and patient must be secured...
However, in the CAO it only says the stretcher is to be secured against maximum acceleration... The patient must be secured by an approved harness to the stretcher or aircraft structure.
So shouldn't the answer be (d) or have I read it wrong?

Hi Lucas,
If you read through the answers properly the difference between answer C and D is the end of the answer, 'during normal flight and during an emergency' and 'during normal flight OR in an emergency.
The CAO states it needs to be secure for both so the answer is B.
CAO 20.16.3 (14.4)
(a) secure the stretcher...
(b) secure the patient to the stretcher or the a/c...
